FREMANTLE PIAZZA
Matthew Crawford Architects completed a refurbishment of the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour Piazza for the Department of Transport.
Natural timber decking radiates from the harbour waters and organically curved concrete planters introduce vegetation. The piazza provides an uplifted public space between the fishing boat harbour and the adjacent Bather’s Beach.
The piazza decorates the frontage of Char Char Bull Restaurant and Bar, another MCA project.
